Your questions, answered

What will be covered in the assessment?

The assessment will cover over 100 factors that are part of your overall health, lifestyle and history. We’ll go beyond standardised medical questionnaires to deeply understand how your life actually works day-to-day, and how that could be impacting your health. Register your interest now to be the first to know when it’s here.

Who designed the assessment?

Our team of UK and global medical experts designed the questionnaire initially, to ensure it covers the most evidence based factors that influence your weight. We’ve then worked with behaviour change experts to ensure that the day to day life factors, that often get in the way of our progress, are captured.

How will the assessment work? Is it really free?

The assessment will bring together your health factors into an insights report, immediately generated, that shares information about your metabolism and weight story. It does not provide a diagnosis of any condition, and does not replace a formal consultation with a doctor. It will simply explain how the factors specific to your lifestyle are coming together to drive your metabolism.

Do I have to take the blood test, too?

No, the blood test is optional and can be added on for those who want to go deeper on their health.

Will the at-home blood test be painful?

The test uses a small device applied to your upper arm – there's no visible needle and no fingerprick. Most people find it painless. Once activated, the device collects a small sample of blood into a tube in under 10 minutes. Full step-by-step instructions will be included in the kit, and there's a video guide available.

Who is the blood test for?

The blood test is for any woman who wants a clearer picture of her metabolic health. Whether you're on a Hers weight programme, considering starting one, or simply want to understand what's happening on the inside – the test is open to you. Our 24 markers and clinician reports are designed to go beyond a standard health check, giving you results that are explained in the context of your weight, energy, hormones, and overall wellbeing

What will I learn from the blood test results?

You will receive a personalised health report written by a qualified clinician – not just a list of numbers. Your clinician will review your marker results alongside the health questionnaire you completed, connecting your results to your symptoms, weight history, and lived experience before drawing any conclusions. Your report covers five key areas of metabolic health: metabolism, heart health, hormones, thyroid function, and nutrient levels. For each marker, you'll see how your result compares against reference ranges.

Your clinician's report will then explain what your results actually mean for you, and what, if anything, requires action. Where there's something worth addressing, you'll receive practical suggestions -  whether that's a lifestyle or nutrition change, a supplement to address a gap, or a recommendation to speak with your GP. Anything that requires prompt attention will be flagged clearly. Register your interest now to be the first to know when it’s here.

What happens if a result is flagged as abnormal?

Every result is reviewed by a qualified clinician before your report is prepared – so nothing is sent to you unreviewed. If a result falls outside a clinically significant threshold, your clinician will flag this clearly in your report and explain what it means for you specifically. Where something needs prompt attention, we'll contact you directly rather than waiting for you to log in and find it.

For results that sit outside our optimal ranges but don't require urgent action, your report will include clear guidance on next steps. We'll always tell you when something is worth discussing with your GP, and your report gives you something concrete to take into that conversation.

Will the test be available across the whole UK?

The test will be available to customers in mainland England, Scotland, and Wales. We're not yet able to offer the service in Northern Ireland.
